Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that the team’s Serie A title party was the best moment of their entire season.

The Nerazzurri coach spoke to InterTV, via FCInterNews, during the Nerazzurri’s trophy presentation following their draw against Lazio.

In certain respects, Inter’s Serie A title celebrations have taken place in stages.

First there was the derby win over AC Milan last month.

That was the match in which Inter actually clinched the title. And they did so in historic circumstances, securing the title in a derby for the first time in history.

And that had seen the initial outpouring of emotion once Inter officially confirmed their status as champions.

And yesterday evening, Inter received the actual trophy for winning the title. This was another special party for the team and for the fans.

But it was really the celebratory parade that saw Inter truly share in the joy of the title with their fans.

Following a Serie A match against Torino, the entire Inter squad boarded a team bus. They travelled from the San Siro to the Piazza Duomo.

There were reportedly over 300,000 fans who showed up to celebrate. And the party went on for hours.

Simone Inzaghi: Serie A Title Party “Best Moment Of Inter’s Season:

Asked what the moment that he enjoyed most this season was, Inzaghi replied “Definitely all the scenes after the Inter Torino match.”

“And all the celebrations afterwards.”

“Our wonderful fans gave us something that was truly incredible,” added the Inter coach.

“Our fans deserve this satisfaction,” he went on. “A beautiful evening, and deserved from the guys.”

“The league title as a coach is a different feeling,” Inzaghi noted, having won the Serie A title as a player with Lazio but never as a coach before this season.

“I was a different age when I was a player.”

“This was the culmination of a job that I started a long time ago,” Inzaghi added.

“And as I said, it’s right to share it with everyone. The staff, the club, the fans.”

“And this group of wonderful players,” added the Nerazzurri coach.
