Dale Earnhardt Jr. chimes in on Kyle Busch-Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fight with perfect message
Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Dale Earnhardt Jr. seems to love what he saw from Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. after the NASCAR All-Star Race. Busch and Stenhouse got into a fight, and it led to Earnhardt sharing an awesome message on social media.

“Cement up all the tunnels at these tracks,” Earnhardt wrote.

The reason Earnhardt said this is the fact Stenhouse couldn’t leave the track at North Wilkesboro Speedway until the race was over. Stenhouse’s night ended early as Busch ran into him on the second lap of the race. Busch did this intentionally as he believed that Stenhouse ran into him.

The wreck led to Stenhouse, Busch and members from both teams fighting. And after the fight, Stenhouse went after Busch during an interview with Fox Sports.

Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. go after each other

“I feel like Kyle and I have always raced each other really hard back to the Nationwide Series when we were competing for wins week in and week out,” Stenhouse said. “Never had any issues. Then you know, I wrecked him one time at Daytona and he’s been kinda bad-mouthing me ever since then. I feel like we get along with each other okay outside the race track, I talk to him quite a bit.

“I’m not sure why he was so mad, I shoved it three-wide, but I mean, he hit the fence and kind of came off the wall and ran into me. I don’t know when I was talking to him he kept saying that I wrecked him. So, definitely built up frustration with how he runs his mouth all the time about myself, but I know he’s frustrated because he doesn’t run as well as he used to. I understand that. We’re a single-car team over here, we’re working really hard to go out and get better each and every weekend.”

Busch spoke to reporters after the fight and explained why he ran into Stenhouse during the race. “I’m tired of being run over by everybody,” he said. “But that’s what everybody does. Everybody runs over everybody to pass everybody.”

When the race was all said and done, Joey Logano came in first and claimed the $1 million prize. He has won the race twice with the first one occurring in 2016. Busch won the All-Star race in 2017 and Stenhouse has yet to win it.
